Could Lump At The Top Of Butt Crack With Painful Walking And Sitting After Harsh Fall Be Concerning?

Fell down pretty harshly on my buttocks 2 days ago, now it s painful to walk, sit down (unless I lean forward), plus there s a lump at the top of my butt crack (excuse my French on that), sort of 2 inches below my tailbone. Is the just from the fall, or have I broken something?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The lump at the top of the butt can be due to a henatona formation or an infection in the area. If the pain and swelling is gradually increasing then it needs a medical treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
