Could Masturbation Cause Bacterial Vaginosis To Relapse?
Hey, how are you?Well I m currently taking metronidazole 500mg pills its a 7 day treatment, and I have only two days left to finish. I am very (horny) sorry for being very blunt but could I play with myself to make me orgasm, would that cause me to make the bacterial vaginosis come back?

It is good to know that you are taking Metronidazole 500 since you have bacterial vaginosis. Do complete the course. Maintain vaginal hygiene and do not indulge into activities that will promote the growth of bacterial vaginoses. Do not indulge with multiple partners and unprotected oral / anal sex. Take regular bath and wear cotton clothes. Do not douche, stay away from addictions ( smoking, alcohol, etc). Stay away from anxiety and stressful lifestyle.
Bacterial Vaginosis increases your chance of getting other STDs, such as chlamydia and gonorrhea. These bacteria can sometimes cause pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), which can make it difficult or impossible for you to have children. It affects fertility. You are suggested to complete the course of the medicine before masturbating as careless masturbation or fingering, use of shared sex toys, penetration with a dildo that is not a quality silicon rubber can trigger bacterial vaginosis. Some women are also allergic to latex. It may increase your discomfort. Let your vaginal infection get cured before you masturbate. This is to stay on the safer side.
