Could Mild Pain Below Belly Button Of A 10 Year Old Be The Starting Of Appendicitis Problem?
My 10 year old daughter has mild pain just below her belly button and going from side to side no temperature and not feeling nauseas could this be the start of appendicitis as every female in my family has had to have their appendix removed due to appendicitis
Hi Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day
Appendicitis also has associated symptoms like loss of appetite, mild fever, vomiting etc. In clinical practice, diagnosis of appendicitis is almost excluded if the appetite is not disturbed. Appendicitis of any severity have varying degree of loss of appetite, but they do have it. So would suggest you to see Pediatric Surgeon if you notice any other symptoms.
