Could My Elevated AST, ALT, LDH, And HsCRP Levels Be Due To Muscle Damage From A Deep Massage?
Hello. I’m a moderately heavy drinker, 3 to 5 drinks a couple night a week and occasional more at parties. I’ve had pain in my ride side for over a year, had many tests done Over the year and labs and all come back WNL. Had ultrasound and CT that we’re normal as well for the liver. Recently started on sertraline and atorvastatin. A lab back 6 weeks ago was normal with the exception of ALT of 48. Just this past week I had my labs repeated out of curiosity. My Ast was 220 and ALT was 180. Also LDH was 350 and hsCRP was greater than 10. Sounds bad but I had a deep massage 36 hours before blood draw. 12 hours before blood draw I was so sore I could barely move form the massage and I did have bruising in two spots. Is it likely that these labs were a result of the muscle damage in the massage? I will be checking them again in two weeks but curious for piece of mind.
