Could My Frequent Colds, Lower Lung Pain, Urinary Issues, And Phlegm Be Related?

I m 20. Recently I m getting cold quite often and have a history of acute bronchitis in childhood. The infection might be connected to urinary tract as when I wake up it s a hard pee call and my lower lungs have slight pain. The phlegm produced sometimes even obstructs my breathing and i need to cough to get it out. Appetite also decreased since the start of the year due to an unfortunate incident in the family. Any diagnosis to what it might be, the source of infection and tests if needed any?

Hi,

Your lungs and urine problems are entirely different problems and in no way related to each other. Also, an episode of acute bronchitis in childhood does not seem related to your symptoms. Still, blood count, X-ray chest and urine testing seem to be the required primary investigations in your case.

As, you have also, decreased appetite, you may be needed an examination of your sputum, particularly to rule out a tubercular infection of the lungs. In the last but not the least, you also look like to be having symptoms of depression and hence, the presentation of your symptoms may be a bit of an exaggeration also. In my opinion, to be clear, you need to see a doctor and further management may be done under his guidance.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
