Could Nausea And Fever Be Related To Car Accident?

My daughter was involved in a car accident - rear ended very hard yesterday. She went to the ER and was given a CT scan, but was not checked in her abdomen where she was thrown against the seat belt. She is now experiencing nausea, chills with fever. Could this be related to something undetected?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, vehicular accident case needs to be kept under observation for at least 72 hours because anything could happen within this time period so looking to the history given here the symptoms stated here could be due to accident injury hope this information helps.
