Could Nerve Damage From My Recent Nose Cauterization Be Causing The Burning And Pain In My Palate?
I had nose cauterization over a week ago. Both sides. From the beginning I had issues inside my mouth on the right side only. Immediately I experienced a headache and my jaw ached. The following day my teeth felt numb, my jaw ached, and my palate was very sensitive in spots. It becomes way worse after eating. Last night I awakened with a burning sensation in my entire palate. Very painful. It went on for hours. I take 1300 mg Tylenol at a time, plus I use saline and Vaseline inside my nose. My ENT says it could be nerve damage. But it should EVENTUALLY go away. He doesn t know about the roof of my mouth burning as this is the weekend. What advice can you offer me?
