Could Nodule On Thyroid After Being On Hcg Diet Mean Goiter?

i have developed a nodule on my thyroid after doing the hcg diet for 28 days only, my blood levels are normal and i have a normal thyroid, just this nodule that they will biopsy tomorrow, i heard hcg could cause goiters do you think that is true and will it shrink since i stopped the hcg, also if given medication to shrink it can i continue hcg diet

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.

You have nodule on thyroid.

Goitre is general term used for enlargement of thyroid. It can be due to any causes.

So any enlargement in thyroid is called goitre.

It can be due to colloid nudule, adenoma or carcinoma. So go for FNAC or biopsy of that nodule and take treatment accordingly. Diet has not much role in treating thyroid nodule.
