Could Pain In Face And Nose Bleeding Be Due To Hitting Face After Falling?

I just fell in the shower and hit the right side of my head a half hour ago. Aside from the major pain in that side of the face my nose has been bleeding off and on it will been for 5-10 mins then stop for a few and then bleed again. Is this just due to the falling or is something more serious occurring?

Hi welcome to the health care magic

You are having nose bleeding secondary to trauma history...

So here if nose bleeding occurs nose pinched with thumb and index finger for ten minute to stop bleeding...

If bleeding recurrent as in your case than anterior nasal packing done because most of bleeding is from anterior nose vessel injury

Your blood pressure also should be measured

So I will advise you to consult otorhinolaryngologist for examination and further work up

Take care
