Could Persistent Twitches Be A Sign Of ALS, Or Are They More Likely Due To Anxiety Or My Past Eating Disorder?
Hi been having twitches in both legs and other parts of body for a week now, my dad says im the last person on earth to get ALS thought it was anxiety because i would constantly worry and have these attacks making my whole body feeling week also because i am only 21 with no genetic history of any diseases, dont smoke nor drink or consume any bad food im one of those people who would drink lemon water in morning and exercise constantly and have great diet, but i did have a massive exercise and eating disorder when younger but these twitches will not stop Scared it might be ALS but if it was would i be able to run on treadmill like i did this morning still had small twitches when in gym but barely noticed them. I am typing to you because i cannot afford to get EMG or see neurologist and not alowed to see doctor because my family believe its nothing.
