Could Pink Discharge While Being Due For Depo Shots And Having Unprotected Sex Cause Pregnancy?
Hi. I gave birth October 11,2013 and two days after giving birth I was given the deposit shot before I left the hospital. During these months I have been having unprotected sex with my husband.I am due to get my second shot January 5,2014 but today I ve been having a pink discharge.Could I be pregnant again?
If you were on depo shots and had sex during this, it is not unprotected as the shot is protecting you against pregnancy.
The chances of getting pregnant are extremely low or almost nil till January 5. The spotting and pink discharge may be due to the depo shots as they are known to cause irregular vaginal bleeding in some women. So please do not worry. You are not pregnant. If you are still feeling worried, get a urine test done to rule out pregnancy and set your mind at ease.
