Could Rectal Bleeding, Diarrhea And Constipation Be Signs Of Colon Cancer?

sir, i am a 22 year old male, i noticed the following symptoms since last six months.I am worried if I have colon cancer.1)A change in bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation and a change in the consistency of the stool.2)Rectal bleeding or blood in stool.3)A feeling that bowel doesn t empty completely.Please help me regarding what i can do. Do i have colon cancer, how can i know. Where can i get a screening test done?

Although these symptoms do point towards colon cancer, they can happen in a number of other conditions also. At your age I would think of non-cancerous conditions first. The best way to ascertain the same would be to get yourself examined by a general surgeon who would examine your anal area and rectum with a scope. If required, he will get a colonoscopy done (endoscopic examination of the entire large bowel). That will ascertain the nature and cause of your symptoms.
