Could Rectal Pain And Growth Protruding From Anal Region Be Due To Hemorrhoid?

Hi,
I am suffering from rectal pain, and a growth from anal region protruding from the side. I am unable to understand if this is Hemorrhoid, sentinel pile or fissure. Subsequently what should be the treatment procedure.
This has persisted over two weeks now, I have no bleeding but constipation increases the pain and the growth refuses to reduce in size.
I have used hot bath, ointments to help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Protrusion of something that is growth from one side of anus with pain and growth not reducible can be due to the following reasons:
Prolapsed hemorrhoid that is pile mass.
Cancer or a polyp.
This can be confirmed by the following:
Per-rectal digital palpation and ano-proctoscopy to begin with and get an appointment with a General Surgeon or a Proctologist for clinical diagnosis and if a mass is present you need a biopsy. Confirmation of what this is may be hastened by an MRI of the region.
If Hemorrhoid, simple ligation and excision can help the best.
If cancer or a mass, a preliminary biopsy should be helpful and assisted by a Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen and pelvis. Get operated or as advised by your Surgeon.
