Could Restlessness In Schizophrenia Patient Be A Side Effect Of Medicines?
Hello Doctor my brother is diagonised with Paronoid Schezophernia, Hw was addmitted in a hospital and given treatment . Right now he is regular medicine, he is taking Sulpitac 300 mg and D-veniz. But now a days he is becoming little angry and restless. Do you think we need to revist on his medicines
In paranoid schizophrenia, there is no need to give antidepressant D-veniz. If he is getting irritable day by day, in that case, better to increase the dose of sulpitac after psychiatrist consultation. Dose of sulpitac could be increase up to 1000 mg day and he is at very basic dose. Better to consult his psychiatrist as soon as possible before getting too late. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
