Could Scrapes And Dryness On Base Of Penis Be Due To Herpes?

My ex just texted me. We had unprotected sex last month now he noticed 2 weeks ago he has scrapes and dryness at the base of his penis. He asked me if i was tested for an std. I have no scrapes or leasions on my vagina. Could he have herpes ? Please help

thank you for query.scrapes or dryness may be due to many factors like dryness,psoriasis,fungal infections,stds etc.so please consult doctor for diagnosis and treatment.It is better to have protected intercourse like using condoms if either of them have multiple partners.
