Could Severe Hair Fall Be A Side Effect Of Taking Mintop?

I am suffering from severe hair fall from past 2 months. I want to know the side effects of Mintop 10. Is there any herbal medicine available in India which helps to stop hair fall as well as promotes new hair? I have heard about Seagal Solution's Saw Palmetto. I want to use a product which has no side effects.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The hairfall may not be due to Mintop. Minoxidil takes a minimum of 8-10 months to show results. Try and find out the other causes of your hairfall which is mostly multifactorial: hereditary/ poor diet/ erratic lifestyle/ stress/ change in weather/ dandruff/ poor products etc to name a few. Star a multivitamin with biotin in it. Saw Palmetto may not be enough.
