Could Smoking Affect Iritis Treatment?

I been treating my iritis for a week now but have been smoking cannabis for about 2 years now. I did as my doctor said regarding prescriptions, however my eye seems to be heading the same direction as when I started could smoking be affecting it in any way?

Smoking will affect the treatment of it it is.
Iritis is inflammation of the iris and smoking increases inflammation.
Hence you need to stop smoking till the iritis is completely cured.
