Could Smoking Have Led To Back Pain, Fluttering In Chest And Spasms In Esophagus?

I have the sensation that can best be described as esophageal spasms or a flutter in my upper chest, dull upper back pain. I've been under a great deal of stress and this began a few days ago after a full blown panic attack. I'm a 53 yo female, overweight, recently quit smoking, taking antidepressants. It worries me that it may be heart related. Can someone help me?

Yes smoking withdrawal can cause symptoms you have described. Why are you on antidepressant? IF you consulting a psychiatrist , direct ask your doctor to help you to get rid of these symptoms. As propranolol, bezodizepines and bupropion under medical supervision can be quite helpful for deaddiciton. But simultaneously considering your age and smoking history ECG required to rule out any problem with heart.
