Why do you think it is tasting like that? Is it possible the pnuemonia is coming back? Thank you :)

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your query as you have Pneumonia and sore throat along with metallic taste in mouth and along with it as you are also taking antibiotics the metallic taste in mouth can be due to post nasal drip that is containing infected mucous.
It can also be due to the side effect of the antibiotic as metallic taste is a common side effect of taking antibiotics..
Nothing to worry about it as it is not the sign of relapsing of infection.
As you will stop taking the medicines the taste will improve..
As of now for sore throat do warm saline gargles..
Do steam inhalations and drink plenty of water..
Chew sugarfree flavoured chewing gums as it will mask metallic taste and also improve saliva flow..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
