Could Spotting During Period Indicate Pregnancy?

My friend s period was late. She took 3 pregnancy tests. Two were positive, one negative. She says she is on her period, but it is spotting. She also said that her periods are usually only spotting. Would being on your period affect an at home pregnancy test? Also, she had the cheap pregnancy test that you would buy at a dollar store. Are those just as accurate as the more expensive ones? She s too embarrassed to ask anyone, and I didn t know the answer.

Urine pregnancy test are nearly 97% accurate. If it has turned to be positive i advice you not to neglect. You can go for either Blood pregnancy test which is more accurate or can go for trans vaginal ultra sound for conformation.
