Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Home pregnancy tests should read by this time, if you have been pregnant. Symptoms which mimic those of early pregnancy can also happen due to hormone effects as in an impending period. In the current scenario, since you are bleeding, to know if you did conceive you should take the blood test to estimate serum beta-hCG titres. This should help to sort out the situation. A sonogram of the pelvis also can help. Hope your query has been clarified. Wish you good health.
