Could Spotting, Soreness In Breasts And Nausea Be Signs Of Pregnancy?

Hello I'm worried I got a faint positive pregnancy test but I took it 3days before my cycle is due. My breasts are sore and I've been having nausea and a dull mild cramp that comes and goes. Today I just went to the bathroom and I'm spotting could this be a start of my cycle or could I be pregnant.
Thank you

Hi,

Thanks for the query.

A faint pregnancy test 3 days before cycle, does point towards pregnancy.
It is best to do the test 7 days after the missed period with an early morning urine sample to confirm.

Other reasons for such complaints may be a threatened abortion that occurs when the baby is trying to abort. It causes cramping and spotting or bleeding. Implantation bleeding is bleeding occurring when the baby is trying to get attached to the mother. It occurs just around the next expected period.

It is best to get a pregnancy test done after 7 days and also an ultrasound {transvaginal} if it is positive. Also see your doctor an get an examination done. If threatened abortion is suspected, injection HCG and progesterone will help in preventing it. Folic acid tablets taken during the first 3 months help to prevent brain defects in the baby.

Hope this satisfies your query.
