Could Stopping Drinking And Starting HEP C Treatment Be Dangerous?
I a an acholic and I started HEP C treatment on yesterday....I also quick drinking yesterday. Someone suggested stopping drinking and start an invasive HEP C Treatment could be dangerous. Your opinion? I don t feel so good right now and it s only been 24 hours??
It is the right thing to do and it is not particularly dangerous in any way. What is rather dangerous should be not treating hepatitis C and drinking alcohol. Quitting alcohol would always come with some undesirable symptoms irrespective of whether you start treatment for hepatitis C or not. This is the reason why you are feeling terrible. However, try to focus on the benefits of quitting smoking and getting treatment for Hepatitis C so as to gain enough motivation to keep going. I will suggest you don't go back to drinking like before.
Thanks and wish you well with your ongoing treatment and stay away from alcohol.
