Could Subconjunctival Hemmorrhaging Be Due To Lifting Heavy Weights?

i've been lifting moderately heavy weights, slowly increasing weight over a year's time. last week pronounced bleeding occurred in my right eye's white area -- subconjunctival hemmorraghing. i'm not working out now, neither jogging nor lifting. how long should i avoid activity?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having sub conjunctival hemorrhage following lifting of heavy weights.
The starin associated with lifting of heavy weights can lead to subconjunctival hemorrhage particularly if associated with fragile vessels.
It is a self resolving condition and it takes 3-4 weeks for complete resolution.
You need to avoid lifting heavy weights for at least 1 week to prevent rebleeding.

hello it might due to straining while doing your weights.you have to wait for it to clear out but to be on the safe side have an ophthalmologist look at it.check also your blood pressure to rule out hypertension which can cause it also
