Could Sudden Change In Attitude, Behaviour Be Caused By Taking Norco?

My husbands Ortho Dr. says he will need total hip replacement sometime down the line. My husband wanted to start cortazone injections but his doctor wrote him out a prescription for Norco. He started to take it for 2 days and i have seen a real bad change attitude, snappy and nasty. I told him to stop taking it to see if his bad behavior would deminish, and it did. My question is would this be part of reaction from this type of medication, and what would be a better resolution.

This type of reaction is not specific to norco but many drugs including norco can cause this type of side effect.
Best is to avoid the drugs causing the reaction
(likely medications with codeine) and
people feel better once the drug is out of their system.
your husband can try different type of pain medication, have him call his doctor.
