Hi. I'm a 25 year old female, smoker, healthy normal weight for my height. I went to the Dr recently for SOB and a fast HB. Was put on an antibiotic which seemed to take care of the problem. Last night, I was relaxing on the couch and felt a very sudden sharp stabbing pain in my L arm that radiated to my chest. It happened twice. It alarmed me enough to sit up and move my arm wondering what the pain was. Shortly after I experienced a " derealization" episode and ringing in my ears. It subsided within five minutes. Right after I had hot flashes that were quickly replaced by chills. I did experience very very dull chest pain for about 20 minutes after the episode and I went back to feeling normal. For the past three years I have also had episodes where I feel as If I black out, but it only happens when I'm standing. I know it's coming on be cause my legs will start to lose their strength and in my trying to keep myself up they will start to shake ( and I mean shake a lot). There have been a few times people have been around me and said that I grabbed onto them to hold myself up and was digging my fingernails into their back and wasn't responding to them when they would tell me to stop. I would quickly come to and remember I had an episode. I'm being passed off as an anxiety case which would be okay with me if I had any tests done to show me it's nothing more serious. I did not have anxiety problems until I started with these weird symptoms. While the DR's think the symptoms are coming from anxiety, I think the anxiety is coming from not being diagnosed and dealing with these scary symptoms. What would you recommend?
