Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Your doctor has given you a good advice. If you have a loss of consciousness and there was no pulse, you need to see a cardiologist. You should undergo cardiac tests, that is ECG, echocardiography and holter monitoring (24 hour ECG monitoring) to find out the cause and prevent further events.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lilit Baghdasaryan
