Could Swollen And Painful Elbows And Heels Be A Side-effect Of Ciprofloxacin?
I had bladder infection and doctor give me ciprofloxacin 250 mg my elbow is so swollen and my heel hurts i stopped medication.Two years ago I had bad car accident and this ellbow i had sprain for what I had therapy and cortisone shots.I read with this medication you can have this side affects.So do you think this is from this medication or its old problem.Thank you

I can understand your concern but this is not the side effects of ciprofloxacine of course this drug can cause the joints pain that happens only when this drug taken for long time with the proper adequate dose, your elbow selling could be due to the pathology it self and not the ciprofloxacine, hope this information helps you have good day.
