General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Patient,
I totally understand your concerns about your health.
I suppose the medication you are taking is Adalat (not adalant). This is a calcium channel blocker used for the treatment of hypertension,
The symptoms you are describing are typical of this medication.

The following are the side effects of adalat :
warmth, redness, or tingly feeling under your skin;
headache, dizziness;
drowsiness, tired feeling;
nausea, diarrhea mild constipation or stomach pain;
sleep problems (insomnia);
mild rash or itching;
joint pain, leg cramps;
urinating more than usual.

So the answer to your question is : Yes this sensation is a side effect of this medication.
If you cannot tolerate these symptoms then you must be shifted to other types of anti-hypertensive drugs, such as thiazide or ACE inhibitors or ARBs and find the medication that suites you.

Best Regards
