i have just had an endoscopy & a biopsy has been taken for examination. however not much has been explained to me. does this mean that a tumor has been found? my problem is with swallowing in the lower gullet. how likely is this to be cancer? a CT scan was also mentioned
Hello ,Thanks for using HCM. It is normal procedure to take a biopsy sample after endoscopy to make sure nothing should be left undone when you are inside the body, if tumor or not biopsy is taken of the internal part of the body to see if structure is normal or not. Do not worry before the results of biopsy. Good luck.
