Could The Bruise On Arm Be Related To Cysts?

I have what looks like a bruise on my arm, but if I touch it or run my hand over it, it feels like a hole. It is a little bit smaller than an inch. I have had a series of cysts in my arm which have had to be removed over a series of years. What is this and could the two be connected?
