Could The Delayed Usage Of B-yaz(birth Control) Cause Pregnancy?

Hi there, so I have been taking B-yaz (birth control) for over a year now every day around the same time. I also make sure that every time my fella and I have sex we use a condom (with the B.C pills). I recently had surgery, but maintained my B.C everyday, however I couldn't get into my yearly Gynecology exam due to the surgery, so I had to start my new pack 3 days late (Wednesday). That was last month, and this month I started back on my regular schedule (Sunday). However I am now 13 days late. Could I be pregnant or is this a side effect from starting my last pack late? I need help.

(I am 18)

Hi,

Pregnancy is possible as you are not protected on those days.

You can go for a urine pregnancy test after two weeks for confirmation.

You can continue the current schedule of pills.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
