Could The Mood Swings And Morning Sickness Be Due To Pregnancy?

Hello,
I have been ttc and was suppose to start my period on the 1st of July as I kept a record of the start date of last period, I started having period pains 3 weeks ago Saturday 25th coming up to 3 weeks this Saturday they have been more often the last 5 days but still no period, I use to have the merina coil and before having that put in I use to know when I got my period because I use to get pains before due on and actually get my period even though I got irregular period that's how I knew I was about to have a period. What could this be is it possible I could be pregnant?? I took a test last night but it was neg I read the instructions in preg kit a line appeared in the control region on the test strip but no line in the test region saying no HCG has been detected you may have taken the test to early..... I am really confused I am hoping I took the test to soon and I could be pregnant. My moods change mornings feel really good and later on feel i really tired and get snappy.
