Could The Pain In Eye Of A Toddler Be A Matter Of Concern?
my 3 year old daughter was playing and suddenly started screaming saying her eye =maybe she scratched it or a particle is still in her eye -she has been crying saying it hurts==is it only an irritation or should i takke her to the hospital= i have given her tylonal(childrens) and eye drops ==what should i do ==
If no particles visible, no redness and no discharge, no need to rush to hospital. Give a thorough wash with clean water and continue Tylenol for 3 days. Take her to doctor if no improvement in 3 days. Eye drops, since not mentioned which, I can not commend. Antibiotic drops can be instilled for 3 days, steroids to be avoided.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
