Could The Pain In The Chest Be Due To 40% Blockage Of The Heart?

I am a 50 year old 5'4" 134 pound female. 2 years ago I learned that I had a 40 percent block in my "widow maker" by a heart cath. I don't smoke, have high blood pressure or high cholesterol but was prescribed a statin that I don't take because it made me feel horrible.
I still have chest pains....even though the cardiologist said that was not the reason for the pain. What could be the cause of pain?

Hi, pain could also be due to heart burn.
I think you should definitely take both statin and aspirin. You can lower dose or take alternate days at least if it bothers you--regards
