Could The Sharp Pain On The Left Side Be Due To Gastritis?

I keep getting sharp pains on my left side, it comes and goes. I ate blueberries and green beans last night for dinner could that just be it? Just gas build up or something like that? I have had 2 surgeries in the last five yrs. Ever since then my intestines make growling sounds.

Hello,
1) What two surgeries you had before?
2) If you have abdominal surgery then your symptoms of sharp pain, eating of beans, growling sounds suggests partial (sub-acute) intestinal obstruction secondary to previous abdominal surgery.
3) In such case, you should restrict amount of uncooked raw food. Should take small amount of food but multiple times during episode of these symptoms. Consistency of food must be soft-semisolid is advisable.
4) If you have not undergone abdominal surgery before then these symptoms suggest simple indigestion
