Could The Stabbing Pain While Breathing Be Due To Asthma?

hello i have uncontrolled asthma (i sumtimes forget to take meds) i am on seretide 250 and salbutamol im having very bad back and shoulder pain feels like something is stabing me when i breathe but then its constant pain too and hurts more when i breathe or even when i move ? could it be to do with asthma ? pain is at top of my ribs on my back mayb its my ribs stabbing me ?

You need to get an x ray chest done to rule out any underlying lung problem. If you are having hectic cough, some times there can strain over ribs or even fracture of the ribs. Hence consult your local physician for a complete check up. Also, you have to take or inhalers regularly for proper control of asthma.
