Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Could The Symptoms Of Substernal Pain And Pressure During Exercise Be Due To Small Vessel Disease?
For cardiology I am writing about a patient who has atypical chest pain for over 5 years with appropriate negative evaluation. His symptoms are substernal pain and pressure during exercise at times but other times such as walking in the wind. Temporarily stopping his statin has decreased the pain. Could this be small vessel disease? Would there be an appropriate cardiology consultant at CU for evaluation referral. Thanks Chris Nevin-Woods
