Could Tonsillitis Be Caused By A Head Injury?

i hit my head on the open tailgate of my car a week ago. a day later i swam one kilometer in the local public pool. walking back to my car i momentarily felt almost a petit mal and felt odd for a few minutes. the next day i developed a fever with what appear to be tonsilitis symptoms. i still have a bad throat and fatigue 3 days later with occasionan stabbing headache. could there be a connection between the blow to the head and the'tonsilitis'?

Hi, there is no connection between tonsillitis and head injury, but tonsillitis can be caused by infected water in swimming pool. I think that you have probably got infection from the water in pool. I hope this will help you. Take care.
