Could Twitching In Arm Be A Side Effect Of Cortisone Injection Given For Impingement Syndrome In Left Shoulder?
I have impingement syndrome in my left shoulder and had 3 cortisone shots in the past 3 months. None of which have worked thus far. For the pat 2 weeks I have twitching in my arm, front and back and in my rib area. Do you think this is a side affect or nerve damage?
No twitching can not be because of nerve damage.I would suggest you to meet your neurologist to find out the reason of twitching. If steroids are not doing any good for your impingment syndrome then you need to think about surgery. It is called subacromian decompression . This is done through key holes and it is very small but effective surgery.
