Could Unprotected Anal Sex Possibly Cause HIV?

First of all, thank you for this helpful resource of information about HIV.

What happened to me is that not so long ago I was fooling around with this guy and he started rubbing his penis against my anus. He started pushing it like if he wanted his penis to go inside, I panicked and took his thing away from my anus. This happened several times. I was so dilated and lubed that I fear that maybe the tip of his penis went into my anus without me noticing it. Could this happen? Am I at great risk of contracting HIV?

I think it is important to mention that I tried exploring myself and I think the tip got up until where the anal walls close and push everything out, not far away from the surface... This was the thing that scared me the most

Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Unprotected anal sex is definitely a risk factor for HIV, no way to sugar coat it.

Even rubbing without any protection carries a risk. I would advice that you get a blood test for HIV at 1 month(for both p24 antigen as well as HIV antibodies). If you test negative at 1 month, it needs to be reconfirmed at 3 months with a repeat test because HIV has a window period and does'nt immediately show up in blood test (window period, is the time from infection to when it can be first detected by a test and it is on an average 3 months in case of HIV). Testing negative at 3 months would be conclusive that you are clean of HIV, provided you had no more contacts in the preceding 3 months
