Could Using Larger Amount Of Lisol Spray Cause Harm To Harm To Baby In Pregnancy?

Hi - I am currently 19 1/2 weeks pregnant. I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and was in a treatment program prior to becoming pregnant. I have recently reversed back to some old habits due to some stress in my life (recent death) and I think being hormonal. I have gone through three cans of Lysol spray in the last three weeks. I am very worried that I have caused damage to my baby. I always spray in a well ventilated area and cover my nose and mouth when I spray but is it possible that the chemicals have hurt the baby?

Hi,
I understand your query & concern.
Lysol spray is a disinfectant spray, It is advised to use in in a well ventilated area.. as you have done. You had used a mask as an additional precaution.So don't worry, it's not likely to hurt your pregnancy.
At the most, the ingredients may irritate respiratory tract , & indice allergic cold But you do not seem to have that too.. so, no worry.
