Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of suspected food
poisoning, vomiting of food first followed by bile, now water only, and yellow urine.
If you are suspecting anything like food poisoning I would advise you the following:
Consult a Doctor or ER to see for the vitals information like pulse, blood pressure, hydration, any
electrolyte imbalance and so on. This will give the clue as to if there is any infection in the gastrointestinal tract.
You will then need a symptomatic treatment with anti-emetics like
Domperidone, PPI like
Omeprazole, and an antibiotic active against food poisoning.
You will also need to seek for test of stool, urine and blood and take intravenous fluids and electrolytes to be on a safer side.
Urine may be of yellow color due to over-concentration due to
dehydration. Get urine also checked so that if any problem is present, it can be treated in a proper way.
Correction of the fluid and electrolyte balance can cause colored urine to become normal.
Even the B-complexes lake urine yellow and then there is nothing to worry about.
I hope this answer helps you.
