Could Weakness And Body Tremors Be Due To Hypoglycemia?
hi my mother is 65 years and she is experiencing weakness and shaky hands usually in the afternoon. her sugar level in the morning is 90-127 and she is taking a pill with 5mg Glipizide and 500 mg metformin hydrochloride. the post meal reading ranging between 195-245. it is because of hypoglycemia or may be some other cause. Please help

The most common reason with the given details is hypoglycemia. It will be prudent to check blood sugars when she experiences weakness and shaking. If it is hypoglycemia then her tablets need to be finetuned. If you are in India there is something call HYPOTAB for hypoglycemic emergencies. 4gms tab will give her quick relief from hypoglycemia. Maximum upto 4 tabs can be taken.
