I am 25 years old women and I have been prescribed omnacortil 10 with Atarax 10mg and teczine 5mg as I had full body itching. I have seen that after taking these tablets I have gained weight and there is swelling on my body. Please advice me on the same.

Yes Omnacortil is a steroid . Prolonged use of a steroid can cause weight gain , body swelling , facial puffiness , striae marks , High Blood glucose .
But this happens only after a prolonged use like for few months . So for how long have you been taking these medications ?
