Cramps And Pain After Endometrium Ablation. Taken Antibiotics. Now Have Brown Bleeding. Normal?

I had an endrometrium ablation and d&c on June 24th. I have had cramping and pain since. The bleeding stopped for a bit. My doctor did check me a week later and said everything looked good but put me on 2 antibiotices just in case of infection. I finished those but the cramping and sharp pains did not go away. July 22nd I started spotting brown blood and wiping red blood when urinating. But most of the day the pad had nothing. Then it stopped and on July 27th started again. Now today I am cramping like a normal period and am actually bleeding brownish red right now like I am about to start a period. Is this normal. I turned 50 in June

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. The symptoms you have mentioned in your query are the common after effects of ablation and d&c for few weeks. But if it prolongs than normal then you need to have immediate close attention from your treating doctor. In your case at present it is not absolutely normal to say as it has been 1month passed after the procedure. But still I saw so many cases presenting with same complaints even after a month. In my opinion you must go for a routine scan to rule out other causes. As you have already used antibiotics there might not be any infection. So to rule out other causes than infection we need a scan to done. Hope this answers your query. Thank you.
