i cleaned my sons(3.5 yr old)ear with a ear bud and he screamed for a while and i saw blood coming out.but immediately after few minutes when i asked him if it was paining he said no.i checked for the blood but could see dried blood inside.i also conducted hearing tes by closing one ear and talking thru the damaged ear.he could hear everything i said. i am still worried and my question is do i need to still see an ENT?
Hi, by your history it looks like you might have caused trauma to external ear, in children skin will be delicate, please don't clean with buds vigorously, avoid water entry, and in case child is having pain or discharge, reduced hearing then take him to Ent specialist. As of now take these precautions, t.c.
