Cut My Tip Of The Thumb. Keeping Clean, Ointment. No Infection. Time To Heal?

I've had this cut on the very tip of my thumb for a bout 5 days. Im keeping it clean and I apply ointment every day. I only had a bandaid on for the first 2 days then I was told to let it breath but I kept applying ointment. My mom and sister tell me its fine and its gonna take at least a month for it to fully recover. Ps their is no sign of infection or anything. I just want to know why it's taking so long to heal

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

Its good that you are taking all safety measures.

Usually the wound takes two weeks to heal.

However healing time depends greatly on the size of wound.

Certain enzymes like enzo heal help in faster healing.

You can take this.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
