Cut On Eyebrow, Done Butterfly Stitches. Will This Leave A Scar?

My daughter fell tonight and got a pretty nasty cut on her eye brow not bad enough for stitches I don't think but it was close, my sister in law cleaned it a ton and then glued it and out butterfly stitches on it. But I don't think she pinched the skin back together or waited for it dry before putting the butterfly stitches on will this leave a nasty scar and how long until they will come off?

General & Family Physician Dr. Masroor Mir Hussain's  Response
Whether a stich will leave a scar depends on how the stiches were placed. Some may not leave a scar while some may remain for a lifetime. It is important that you seek professional help so that it can be done appropriately.
