Cut On The Side Of The Penis. Has A Lump On It. Oozes Out Pus When Pressed. Using Savlon. Taking Antibiotics. Will It Work?
Hi i have a cut on the side of my penis that looks a little like a cig burn. The side of my penis now has a hard lump on it, if i press it hard it seeps a little amount off puss out. Im using savalon on the cut and also taking anti biotics that i already had for a deep cut to my wrist a while back. Will this work?
The antibiotic effectiveness depends of the type of bacteria. Some bacteria can be treated with your antibiotic. Other will be resistant to it. So it is not a good idea to treat your cut without medical attention. Especially that there is a pus in the wound. It indicates an infection and does not sound like it is getting better. That is why I suggest you to visit your doctor, have swab test done and get proper antibiotic for it.
Hope this will help. Regards.
